I remember playing chinese checkers with my grandfather, and scrabble with my grandmother. She always got amazingly high scores. What fond memories those are, even though they might be dim memories, because my grandfather died when I was 6. My grandmother lived till I was 30, and I'm so grateful for that. We are living with my mom, due to economic hardship, and sometimes it's frustrating, but I'm glad my kids will really remember their grandmother.
